After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Chapman University, Julia Sirkin turned her career focus towards museum work. While in undergraduate studies, she had created a three-part podcast based on a professor’s book about Italian Jewish history and studied the American First Ladies of the World Wars for her senior capstone project. She is passionate about creating accessible academia for the public and is thrilled to be part of the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles as her first museum position. Currently, Julia assists with event coordination, marketing, and memberships, as well as research, exhibitions, and collections.
The IAMLA is now open to the public.
