About Taste of Italy and the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles

Taste of Italy benefits free educational programs for youth at the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles (IAMLA). The IAMLA is a twenty-first-century interactive museum that features an award-winning permanent exhibition as well as temporary exhibits and programs. Admission to the museum is free and each year the IAMLA welcomes tens of thousands of low-income families and students, many of whom attend Title I schools. Among the educational programs and resources the IAMLA provides are free arts and culture experiences, California Education Standards–based curricula, guided tours, and internships. The museum is located in the historic Italian Hall in downtown Los Angeles, a building constructed in 1908 in what was then the heart of the city’s Italian enclave. The IAMLA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Nick D’Egidio

The sultry sound of Old Blue Eyes is alive at Taste of Italy and you won’t believe your eyes and ears: Nick D’Egidio featuring the exact look, feel, singing style and attitude. This is the best flashback entertainment.

DJ LO

International DL Lorenza Calamandrei, aka DJLO, is one of the most creative DJ, producer and song writer in Los Angeles. Born and raised in the cultural richness of Firenze, Italy, Lorenza grew up an artist, a risk taker and an innovator. Be ready to dance: the DJLO’s sound is a mix of contemporary and traditional!

Opera Italia

Opera Italia is a theater group based in Los Angeles which aims to spread the beauty of opera to all. They will perform at Taste of Italy with a selection of the most popular Italian operas, a true delight for all ages! Enjoy the passion and the love that only an Italian Opera can express.

Satin Dollz

The Satin Dollz is a talented group of singing, tap dancing, and charming ladies formed in 2005. They deliver top-notch entertainment reminiscent of WWII USO Camp Shows with their harmonious vocals, energetic tap dancing, and stunning beauty. From Hollywood to London and Paris, they have captivated audiences across the globe.

Marco Schiazza

Marco Schiazza was born and raised in Pescara, Abruzzo where he started from a very young age in the entertainment industry. In 2007 he moved to Rome to attend several schools, labs and workshops to launch his acting career. For the past 10 years he has been living in Los Angeles, CA and featured in several TV shows and films, he also emcees our annual Taste of Italy!

Parking is extremely limited and using a ride share service or public transportation is highly recommended.

Valet and Parking Information 
Valet parking will be available for $25 at 125 Paseo de la Plaza starting at 5pm. 
There are also several parking lots in the area, but parking can be challenging. 
Uber/Lyft/car service is recommended.
