As Senior Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility, Rick is the liaison for the Caruso with non-profit organizations, key community members, elected officials & city staffs. In this crucial role, Mr. Lemmo and the various teams he works with, respect each community’s unique character and the spirit of its residents.
Mr. Lemmo is involved in numerous local organizations, as well as, mentoring other members of the Caruso team to engage with the communities we serve. He is currently Chairmen of the Board for Operation Progress, Past Chair and current member of the Thousand Oaks Traffic Commission, former member of the Board of Regents for California Lutheran University, Past Chair and current Board Member of the Los Robles Hospital Regional Medical Center and Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital Board of Directors, Chair Emeritus and of the Greater Conejo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, Rick is currently serves on the Pacific Palisades BID, he is President of the Greater Downtown Glendale Association Community Benefit District, as well as, Board Member of the Coast Village Road Association in Montecito, California. Lemmo is also a member of a wide variety of charitable, arts and community service focused organizations.
For over 23 years, Rick’s involvement and insight enables Caruso to better respond to each neighborhood’s needs while also allowing him the opportunity to provide and enjoy public service both regionally and locally. Lemmo enjoys being a key member of our Human Resources team helping to insure we to become and honor our commitment as centers of the communities we serve.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lemmo has received numerous awards of achievement in business and community service, including “Business Person of the Year”-1999 (Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce), Corporate Partner of the Year-2011/2012(Glendale Chamber of Commerce), Rotarian of the Year-1999 (Thousand Oaks Rotary Club), Man of the Year-2006/2007(Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce) and Man of the Year-2012/2013 (Glendale Chamber of Commerce), 2013 Caruso Dedicated and Distinguished Service Award.
Rick and his wife Lou Ann have three sons, Nicholas, Richard and Zachary, two lovely daughters-in-law, Colette and Maren and 5 precious Granddaughters, Ella Grace, Emilia Suzanne, Elizabeth Ray, Malia Capri & Giavanna Dene.
